Something Different

It has been a while since my last entry but I have been so busy. I guess that’s a good thing. I want to share a new feature I will be offering. I don’t have a name for it yet but in the video industry it’s called Bridal Highlights.

I want to thank David Beckstead (American Photo’s Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World) and Kevin Kramer (Expert Wedding Fashion Photographer) for allowing me to work with them on this project. A special thank you to Jessica for being such a great Bride. When watching the video you would never guess that she is a Doctor specializing in Radiology.

Roy, thanks for your comment. I'm glad that you "loved it".

I have to say that you are one of the best videographers I've seen. Your work is beautiful, and you're so easy to work around. I must say that as a wedding photographer, I have worked with some videographers that have a "breaking news" style of shooting and are always in the bride's face (which is in turn in the photographer's way). It's awesome that you can do the work that you do and present such a beautiful finished product without a lot of direction and disruption. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I would love to work with you in the future.

Nancy, thank you so much for your wonderful comments. It was a pleasure working with you as well. I look forward to filming a wedding with you sometime in Tennessee.

In all my years as a Wedding Photographer I have seen LOTS of "videos" of the Wedding Day. This goes beyond a video and really pulls out the emotions. Videographers could learn a lot from your way of seeing and editting. I enjoyed the workshop with you Don and thanks for being so easy and great to work with! I am a fan of your work and I will definately offer your name to my clients.
Sincerely,

Don and family,

That is wonderful. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the Belle Isle stuff. It looks awesome. I can't wait to see the whole video. I hope to work with you at a future wedding or event. Best wishes.

Heather, thanks for visiting our blog and for your comments. Belle Isle was a lot of fun...actually, the whole day was a unique day of filming. Perhaps we will meet again at a wedding/event.

WOW!!! Has Jessica seen this? Better yet, has her husband seen it? I have worked with videographers touting the term 'cinematography' for years but I have never seen an edited clip like this. I can't believe you got all of this without a bunch of fuss and muss. If you ever decide to move to FL, I will be your walking advertisement! I can't wait to see Kevin and David's finished DVD. Kevin made the right choice when he commissioned you. You are phenomenal!

Hi Cher, I'm glad that you liked the video. We enjoy being creative and unique. Everyone was great to work with and it was so nice to see you again! If you have a bride in Florida looking for a videographer, we would love to come out and film there and work with you.
